Clinical Services - Speech Pathology
The Speech Pathology Department at the Royal Children's Hospital provide services to children who are inpatients (patients who are currently staying in the hospital), and outpatients (patients who are not staying in the hospital). Outpatients generally are children who are seen as part of a multidisciplinary clinic (e.g. cleft palate), a follow-up from an inpatient stay or a referral from health professionals in the community for children with complex conditions.
The RCH Speech Pathology Department operates between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. No service is provided on the weekends. There is no charge.

Referral to these clinics is made by medical practitioners. Please see your local doctor for referral.
