Browse therapeutic class
Products have been categorised into Therapeutic Classes. Some appear in more than one class. To search for products in a particular class, either:
- type the whole name of the class into the Therapeutic Class box
- choose from the full list option
or - select Browse from the navigation menu.
Prescribing information
Find the prescribing information page by searching or browsing to a specific product. This information is divided into three broad areas:
- Abbreviated Prescribing Information
- Equivalent to the MIMS Bi-Monthly. It contains details of each formulation of the product plus brief information on Uses\Indications, Contraindications, Precautions, Adverse Reactions and Drug Interactions.
- Full Prescribing Information
- The full details from the MIMS Annual. Some products do not have complete details and will refer to the manufacturer.
- Footnotes
- May be referred to in the full or abbreviated prescribing information.
Use the navigation menu to select subheadings, for example "Indications", to move directly to the full details. Select headings or phrases in the abbreviated prescribing information to see more detailed information in the full prescribing information or the footnotes.
Colour images of tablets are shown, where available, in the "Presentation" section of the full prescribing information.
