Training Positions

  • Registrar in Paediatric Dentistry / Pediatric Dentistry
    • A full time position is available each year for a qualified paediatric dentist interested in hospital dentistry.
  • Registrar in Orthodontics
    • A 2-year part-time position is available every two years for a qualified orthodontist who is interested in the orthodontic management of patients with cleft lip and palate and craniofacial anomalies.
  • Postgraduate Training in Paediatric Dentistry
    • The postgraduate students enrolled in the University of Melbourne Master's Program in Pediatric Dentistry engage in a six-week clinical rotation at the Royal Children's Hospital during their last year of training
  • Trainee Dental Nurse 
    • This post is an 18-month traineeship in dental chairside assisting. Trainee is registered at the RMIT in the Certificate III in Dental Assisting.  Applicant must be eligible for the Government YES scheme and aged between 16-24 years.
