Welcome to ChIPS

"ChIPS isn't just about chronic illness.  It's about being an adolescent and getting on with life."

The Chronic Illness Peer Support (ChIPS) program is a vibrant adolescent peer support program for young people, aged between12-25 years, who have a chronic illness or condition that impacts their daily life.

In the ChIPS program participants who have differing chronic illnesses come together and share common experiences, learn from each other and are given opportunities to engage in leadership roles through social, recreational and educational activities including our annual camp, leadership training and reference committee.

ChIPS is based at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and Centre for Adolescent Health, and works to engage young people from metropolitan and rural Victoria.
